Baylor's Sarah Andrews headlines latest women's basketball starting five

Last week, Baylor senior Sarah Andrews led the Bears win over Delaware State and No. 24 Miami (Fla.) 

to go 9-0, their finest start since 2015-16. Besides his team-leading 15 points, the guard shot 40% (6-for-15) from 3-point range and had 10 assists and six steals.

On Saturday, Andrews led Baylor's second top-25 win of the season with 18 points, hitting 4-for-7 from 3-point range as the Bears won 75-57 over the Canes. 

The wins propelled Baylor to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25. Bears return to action this week in the West Palm Beach Classic in Florida.

In 33.1 minutes per game, Mississippi State graduate student center Jessika Carter averaged 21.7 points, 14.7 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks as the Bulldogs won three straight.

Carter scored 17 points, 13 rebounds, and a career-high six blocks in an 81-63 road win over Memphis on Dec. 17. 

She recorded her fifth double-double of the season and 33rd of her career, second in the Southeastern Conference. The Bulldogs are 5-0 and 15-0 under head coach Sam Purcell when she double-doubles.
